Elusion.

After Domingo Smets left his former band Ancient Rites after almost 15 years, he felt the need for a new project to put in all his energy and inspiration.

 
With the first songs written he started to look for the right vocalist, realizing that he was searching for a more melodic and powerful voice to fit the symphonic parts and heavy guitars
 
 
So, February 2015 Domingo decided to team up with Evy Verbruggen for this new musical endeavour: ELUSION
Other musicians were easily found: Frederik Van Mieghem (drums) and Kristof Degreef (Bass) had been playing together with Domingo over the past years in different projects like Gracefallen and Persephone’s Blade and they too were looking for something new, something different…
 
 
When hearing the first Elusion songs, they were convinced and as of that moment they are contributing members to the band.
 
 
ELUSION brings captivating songs with heavy guitars, filled with symphonic melodies that lure you into the different stories told by vocalist Evy.
 
 
Her pure voice fits perfectly with the music and enforces the atmosphere of each song, while bass player Kristof takes care of the more brutal grunts.
 
 
 

With the recordings of their mini-CD done, Belgium’s newest symphonic metalband ELUSION is ready to hit the stage!

Alwaid.

Alwaid is a female-fronted melodic metal band from Lille, France. With inspirations found in bands such as Therion, Theatre of Tragedy, Epica or Candlemass, the band strives to create a diversity of atmospheres, sometimes relying on symphonic structures and sometimes on more aggressive heavy metal guitars, not forgetting a number of darker pieces when male growls combine with the melodic female vocals. They’re currently touring extensively to present their latest album “The Machine and the Beast”, released in early 2018 via Valkyrie Rising label.

Aonia.

The 7-headed, 14-legged creation that is Aonia comprises a dual-wield of ‘sopranos with balls’ as vocalists, along with shredding twin axes, symphonic keys and driving drums and bass – for fans of power metal, progressive metal and NWOBHM.

Vocalists Joanne and Mel are featured on the most recent two Blaze Bayley releases, and the band has been climbing the heavy metal ladder. Recent support slots include heavy metal legends such as Blaze Bayley, Leaves’ Eyes, Xandria, Sirenia, Kobra and the Lotus, Skyclad, Forever Never, and Warrior Soul.”
