Aonia’s eponymous festival returns for its sixth iteration at the fantastic Corporation, Sheffield.
AoniaFest VI returns to Corporation, Sheffield on the 15th of November 2025. Thanks to sponsors Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life, ticket prices have remained at just £12.50 for 7 incredible bands! We are also grateful to Vocalzone and AH Music for their endorsement of the event!

Committee member Melissa says, ‘I can’t wait for AoniaFest VI – it’s going to be amazing! We took last year off to play for a charity show close to our hearts, and I didn’t realise how much I missed it. Selfishly, I’m so excited to share the stage with such incredible talent. More altruistically, however, I am looking forward to helping make the festival a great day for bands and for our wonderful Aonia Family, who are so supportive of our endeavours.

Fury are a Heavy Metal band from the West Midlands, UK. Their love of the old school metal of Iron Maiden and Metallica are clear, but the rich and soulful voice of Julian Jenkins sets the band apart from the rest.
Songs with clear purpose and strong visuals will transport you to another time, another reality, or another universe… Fury are known to create passionate and dynamic live shows, able to capture the spirit of music fans all over.
With three previous albums ‘The Lightning Dream’ (2014), ‘Lost In Space’ (2016) and ‘The Grand Prize’ (2020), the band return to the live arena with a thrilling and raucous new album ‘Born To Sin’ (released March 2022). The new chapter is stronger than ever with the line up featuring bassist Becky Baldwin (Mercyful Fate live 2022 & Hands off Gretel) the thunderous Tom Fenn (Torous, Brassick) on drums, Tom Atkinson (Vice, ex-Absolva) on guitar and the powerhouse Nyah Ifill on co-lead vocals.
Fury have appeared on stage across the UK and Europe, grabbing sets at iconic festivals such as Download (UK), Bloodstock (UK), Urrock (CH), Rising Fest (FR), Call of the Wild (UK), Maid of Stone Festival (UK), British Steel Festival (FR) and many more!

WarlocK A.D. are a Heavy Metal band from the West-Widlands, UK, that blends together Symphonic, Power and Folk Metal elements with Parodical Fantasy themes.
WarlocK A.D. Live shows are performed as Live Action RPG events where a dice is used to determine the direction and story of the setlist – creating a unique live experience at every show!
The band performed at Bloodstock Open Air 2022 and has toured with established acts such as VICTORIUS in Germany and the UK, YE BANISHED PRIVATEERS and most recently at O2 Academy shows with NANOWAR OF STEEL.
WarlocK A.D. released their second album, “Book II: The Valley of Vâgené” in 2024 through Rockshots Records.

Bansith are a 4-piece alternative metal band based in Sheffield. Their sound is characterised by their blend of heavy guitar tones, rich synths and soaring vocals. Starting out as a university project, their debut album The Final Lullaby (2024) is conceptually themed around apocalypse and explores issues that make the world today feel like it is ending.
With many gigs under their belt, they have established themselves as exciting and prolific contributors to the grassroots alternative scene in Sheffield. Their live show promises to bring energy, intrigue and plenty of apocalyptic dread.

Bovidae are a progressive instrumental quartet based in Sheffield, UK that play a complex and highly charged fusion of heavy metal, classical and jazz.

Shoot the Messenger is a Scunthorpe based four piece female-fronted rock band, established in 2021 by founding members Paige Enefer and Oliver James. What started out as a short term music project quickly developed into a thriving rock act that regularly performs around the country and is enjoyed by a wide range of demographics.
Influenced by bands such as Paramore, Nothing but Thieves, Royal Blood and Halestorm, Shoot the Messenger delivers the perfect balance of modern rock with a polished twist, blending classic and contemporary rock music. The band effortlessly crosses grungy and distorted guitars with crisp vocals that boast clarity and a dynamic sound.
Released in 2023, their debut EP ‘Ode to Adolescence’ is available on all major streaming platforms, covering themes of betrayal, self-discovery and experiencing the perks and pitfalls of adolescence through a punchy yet introspective lens.
The band anticipates the release of their debut conceptual studio album in the next upcoming year. The LP promises to portray themes of apotheosis on a destructive and nuclear level, real world applicable outward realisations, passage of time and the endless cycles that often go unnoticed by a passive society. This album aims to display the shattering of old, unchallenged perspectives and poses the question: what happens when deep rooted chains, manifested through time and manipulation begin the arduous and long fought for path to being broken?
